A hot-pressed elbow is a type of elbow manufactured by the hot pressing process. It is produced by heating the pipe and forming it with professional equipment, followed by cutting, heating above the critical temperature, holding at that temperature for a period of time, then rapidly placing it into a quenchant to drastically lower its temperature and cool it down at a rate higher than the critical cooling rate.

Treatment Methods:
1. Quenching: A heat treatment process in which the elbow is heated above the critical temperature, held for a certain period, then quickly immersed in a quenchant to achieve a sharp temperature drop and rapid cooling at a rate exceeding the critical cooling rate, so as to obtain an unbalanced microstructure dominated by martensite. Quenching can improve the strength and hardness of steel while reducing its plasticity. Common quenchants used in quenching include water, oil, alkaline water, salt solutions and so on.
2. Normalizing: A heat treatment method that heats the hot-pressed elbow above the critical temperature to fully transform its structure into uniform austenite, followed by natural cooling in air. Normalizing can eliminate network cementite in hypereutectoid hot-pressed elbows; for hypoeutectoid hot-pressed elbows, it can refine the lattice structure and improve comprehensive mechanical properties. Using normalizing instead of quenching for elbows with low performance requirements is more cost-effective.

Manufacturing standards include Chinese National Standard, Electric Power Standard, Water Supply Standard, American Standard, German Standard, Japanese Standard, Russian Standard and others.

Application: Hot-pressed elbows are used at positions where pipeline direction changes, featuring a wide range of applications. They are mainly used in chemical engineering, civil engineering, construction, industrial production and other fields.

Additional Attachment Service: Marking on products (steel stamping, spray printing or letter printing)
Surface Treatment: Paint brushing for rust prevention; cold galvanizing and hot-dip galvanizing treatment are also available.
Packaging: Wooden box, wooden pallet and other packaging options.
