Description
Tee fitting is a type of pipeline connector, applied at the junction of main pipes and branch pipes. It is divided into equal-diameter tees and reducing tees. In terms of materials, it can be classified into stainless steel tees, carbon steel tees, copper tees and PVC tees. Common material grades include 10#, 20#, A3, Q235A, 20g, 20G, 16Mn, ASTM A234, ASTM A105, ASTM A403 and so on. The outer diameter of tees ranges from 2.5″ to 60″, among which specifications from 26″ to 60″ are welded tees, with a wall thickness of 28-60mm. Pressure grades cover Sch5s, Sch10s, Sch10, Sch20, Sch30, Sch40s, STD, Sch40, Sch60, Sch80s, XS, Sch80, Sch100, Sch120, Sch140, Sch160 and XXS.
Carbon steel materials include 10#, 20#, A3, Q235A, 20g, 20G, 16Mn, ASTM A234, ASTM A105, ASTM A403, etc. For seamless tees and carbon steel tees from DN15 to DN800, the domestic industry generally adopts the standard GB/T12459-2005.
