Description

Concrete pump pipe is the short name for delivery pump pipeline. Since concrete is abbreviated as Tong (tóng) in engineering terminology, it is commonly referred to as Tong pump pipe. It is easy to understand that the pump pipe is a new type of construction engineering accessory that emerged along with the concrete delivery pump. Its appearance has greatly improved the efficiency of building construction. It has replaced the traditional operation method of transporting concrete bucket by bucket manually or by crane with the rapid delivery of concrete to the pouring positions, boosting construction efficiency nearly a hundredfold.

Pump pipes are generally divided into two specifications: 125 and 150, each available in high-pressure and low-pressure versions. For the 125-type pump pipe, the low-pressure model has an outer diameter of Φ133, while the high-pressure model has an outer diameter of Φ140. For the 150-type pump pipe, the low-pressure model features an outer diameter of Φ159, and the high-pressure model has an outer diameter of Φ168. The pipe ends of pump pipes are specially processed pipe joints welded to the pipe body, and each pipeline section is connected by pipe clamps manufactured through precision casting technology.

According to the scope of application, pump pipes are classified into trailer pump pipes and ground pump pipes. Trailer pump pipes include boom pipes, hinged elbows, reducing pipes and bent pipes, which are made of cast steel. Ground pump pipes are fabricated from ordinary 20# carbon steel using fluid seamless pipes or straight seam welded pipes.
