Ellipsoidal shape provides uniform stress distribution under internal pressure, widely used as end closure for large storage tanks, reactors and pressure vessels. Available in carbon steel and stainless steel grades, with beveled edge for butt‑welding. Surface options include sand blasting, painting, pickling & passivation.
