Stainless steel pipe cap

Stainless steel pipe caps are also known as plugs or heads.

Application: Pipe fittings welded to pipe ends or fitted onto external threads at pipe ends to seal the pipes. Used to close pipelines, with the same function as plugs.

Pipe caps include designs of convex pipe caps, conical shells, reducing sections, flat covers and necked-in openings.

Convex pipe caps include: hemispherical pipe caps, elliptical pipe caps, dished pipe caps and spherical cap pipe caps. From a stress perspective, the performance of convex pipe caps gradually deteriorates starting from hemispherical pipe caps, but in terms of manufacturing difficulty, they become progressively easier to produce.
