pump pipe

Concrete pump pipe is the short name for delivery pump pipeline. Since concrete is abbreviated as Tong (tóng) in Chinese, it is commonly referred to as Tong pump pipe. It is easy to understand that the pump pipe is a new type of construction accessory that emerged alongside the concrete delivery pump. Its application has greatly improved the efficiency of construction work. It has replaced the traditional labor-intensive or crane-assisted operation of transporting concrete bucket by bucket with the rapid delivery of concrete to the pouring locations, boosting construction efficiency by nearly a hundred times.

Pump pipes are generally divided into two specifications: 125 and 150, each with high-pressure and low-pressure versions. For the 125-type pump pipe, the low-pressure model has an outer diameter of Φ133, while the high-pressure model features an outer diameter of Φ140. For the 150-type pump pipe, the low-pressure specification comes with an outer diameter of Φ159, and the high-pressure one has an outer diameter of Φ168. The pipe ends of pump pipes are specially processed pipe joints welded to the pipe body, and each pipe section is connected by pipe clamps manufactured through precision casting technology.

In terms of application scope, pump pipes are classified into trailer pump pipes and ground pump pipes. Trailer pump pipes, including boom pipes, hinge elbows, reducing pipes and bent pipes, are made of cast steel. Ground pump pipes are processed from ordinary 20# carbon steel fluid pipes or straight seam welded pipes.
