Marine elbow GBT10752-1995

Welding elbows used in the construction of ships. They comply with the standard GB/T10752-1995.

Types

Type ES — short bend radius elbow

Type EL — long bend radius elbow

Nominal diameter:

Type ES: marine elbows DN50-300

Type EL: DN15-300

Bending angles: Type ES: 90°, 180°, 60°, 45°, 30°, 15°

Type EL: 45°, 90°, 180°, 60°, 30°, 15°

Marking example: A long radius elbow with DN65, D76, t4.5, and 90° is marked as:

Joint EL76X4.5X90° GB/T10752-1995

Technical requirements: The material is marine carbon steel seamless steel pipe of grade C10 or C20.

Outer diameter dimensions shall conform to CB3075.

Cold-formed joints shall undergo stress relief treatment.

Non-destructive inspection

Butt-welded joints with an outer diameter greater than 76 mm used in Class I piping systems shall all be inspected by X-ray or gamma-ray.

Butt-welded joints with an outer diameter greater than 102 mm used in Class II piping systems, and those with an outer diameter equal to or less than 76 mm used in Class I piping systems, shall be randomly inspected by X-ray or gamma-ray at a rate of 10%.

Scope of application

Due to their excellent comprehensive performance, marine elbows are widely used in basic engineering projects such as chemical industry, construction, water supply and drainage, petroleum, light and heavy industry, refrigeration, sanitation, plumbing, fire protection, electric power, aerospace, shipbuilding, etc.
