Usage and Instructions: The hot-pushed elbow forming process adopts a special elbow pushing machine, mandrel and heating device to drive the blank sleeved on the mold forward under the push of the machine, during which the blank is heated, expanded and bent into shape. The deformation characteristic of the hot-pushed elbow is that the diameter of the tube blank is determined based on the law of constant volume before and after plastic deformation of metal materials. The diameter of the adopted tube blank is smaller than that of the elbow, and the deformation process of the blank is controlled by the mandrel, so that the metal compressed at the inner arc flows to compensate for other thinned parts caused by diameter expansion, thus obtaining an elbow with uniform wall thickness. The hot-pushed elbow forming process features attractive appearance, uniform wall thickness and continuous operation, making it suitable for mass production. Therefore, it has become the main forming method for carbon steel and alloy steel elbows, and is also applied to the forming of stainless steel elbows of certain specifications. Heating methods in the forming process include medium-frequency or high-frequency induction heating (the heating coil can be multi-turn or single-turn), flame heating and reflection furnace heating. The selection of heating method depends on the requirements of the formed products and energy conditions.
