DHA Dished Head

Dish head, also known as standard elliptical head, can generally be manufactured by four methods: manual forming, explosive forming, die pressing forming and spinning forming. For manual and die pressing forming, hot pressing is now widely adopted in China, which means heating the head blank to 800 ~ 1000℃ and then pressing it on a die with a press. However, with the rapid development of specialized production of pressure vessels in industries such as chemical engineering and brewing, the demand for heads is increasing, and the requirements for their internal quality (such as internal metallographic structure, pressure resistance, corrosion resistance, etc.) are also getting higher. The specialized production of head cold pressing process and its die design will gradually replace the hot pressing forming process, possessing irreplaceable technical and economic advantages over manual forming.
