Usage and Instructions: An elbow is a pipe fitting used to change the direction of a pipeline. Commonly used elbows include those of 45°, 90° and 180°; other non-standard angle elbows such as 60° are also available according to engineering requirements. Elbows are made of materials including cast iron, stainless steel, alloy steel, malleable cast iron, carbon steel, non-ferrous metals and plastics, etc. Connection methods with pipes include direct welding (the most common method), flange connection, hot-melt connection, electrofusion connection, threaded connection and socket connection, etc. Classified by production process, elbows can be divided into welded elbows, stamped elbows and push elbows; forming processes include hot push forming, stamping forming, medium plate welding and other forming methods.

Manufacturing standards include national standard, electric power standard, water conservancy standard, American standard, German standard, Japanese standard, Russian standard, etc.

Application: Elbows are used where pipeline direction needs to be changed, so they are widely applied. The products are extensively used in nuclear power, thermal power, wind power, hydropower, petrochemical industry, shipbuilding, food and medicine, paper making and printing, sewage treatment and other fields.
